In process industries, many processes contain fluids which are difficult to handle with conventional valves-Ball, Gate, Globe etc. These fluids may be Highly Abrasive slurries, highly viscous liquids, liquids solidifying at ambient temperature or any other. For such liquids, we manufacture Y-type flush bottom valves.
The Valve flushes with vessel bottom from inside of the vessel – the seat barrel is extended to the bottom inner level. This will eliminate cylindrical cavity between valve seat & vessel bottom, thus identical conditions – temperature – prevail on valve seat & vessel bottom.
